Your Memories, Our Platform: Sharing Made Easy

“Echoes is more than an app; it is a community where individuals share personal stories, sounds, and experiences awaiting to be attached to a specific location within a neighborhood. We believe that in every neighborhood, various stories are awaiting to be heard and those memories should be preserved.

We begin in Little Village, a primarily Hispanic and Latino neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, renowned for its strong Mexican heritage. We invite the community and others to upload their favorite stories and memories of what they would like to preserve about Little Village.”

Bringing Communities Together, One Memory at a Time

Location- Based Audio Uploads

Users can upload and attach recordings that are linked to a certain geographic location, allowing others to hear and experience stores and memories that are associated with specific locations

Interactive Audio Playbacks

Users can easily relive audio memories while strolling through a neighborhood thanks to the Interactive Audio Playback function, which play recordings automatically as the user gets close to locations where recordings are linked to a certain location

Personalized Audio Journal

Users can save audio stories that they hold personal significance to, allowing them to have the opportunity to revisit those locations and create a collection of memories to relisten to again in the future.
